• Version 9.0.0.14786 – August 4, 2017 – This minor update fixes a bug where the installer would crash if certain Windows Updates were missing.

Note

All you need to run a FlexNet Publisher License Server Manager ('lmadmin'), for use with network (floating) licenses that will work with any version of GeoStudio.

This is an important update to lmadmin to support upcoming releases of GeoStudio. We recommend everyone upgrade to this release, as it will support all existing versions of GeoStudio as well as upcoming releases.

• Feature: Lmadmin has been updated to version 11.14.1 for added stability and support for the latest platforms.
• Feature: Lmadmin is now supported on Windows Server 2016, Server 2012 R2, Server 2012, Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7 SP1. It is no longer supported on Server 2008 or older, or on Windows Vista.
• Feature: Lmadmin is now supported on additional VM platforms, including VMware ESXi 5.5 and 6.0, VMWare Workstation 11 and 12, Hyper-V (on all supported OS versions), and Citrix XenServer 6.2, 6.5 and 7.0.

This is a minor update to the previous May 2014 Release to fix a few specific bugs.

Changes

• Change: Lmadmin has been reverted back to version 11.11.1 SP2, because of unexpected side effects with 11.12.1.
• Change: Windows Server 2003 support has been restored.
• Bug fix: Lmadmin was unable to work with certificate licenses tied to a USB key. This was a regression introduced in the previous release.
• Feature: Additional support has been added for certificate license files on VMs in scenarios where activation over the Internet is not feasible.

• Change: This version of lmadmin is no longer supported on Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
• Bug fix: In some cases it was not possible to return a license because the server indicated the license had already been returned.
• Bug fix: In some cases a standalone license could end up being installed on a license server, or a server license on a client.
