"Error 998" for Slip Surface With Exit Range and Vertical Wall

Symptoms

SLOPE/W SOLVE may return an "Error 998" value for an Entry/Exit slip surface that contains an exit range along a vertical wall.

Resolution

To workaround this problem, move the base point of the wall so that it is not exactly vertical, but still very close to vertical.
Status
GEO-SLOPE has confirmed this to be a bug in the applications and versions listed above. It has been fixed in version 7.15. Download a free Service Pack to upgrade to the latest version.
